For Homeowners & Property Owners

Retaining Walls. Hold the Line.

Segmental block, boulder, and reinforced retaining walls that tame slopes, stop erosion, and create usable, level yard across Florida.

Turn a Slope Into Usable Yard

A good retaining wall does more than look sharp — it holds back soil, stops erosion, and turns an unusable slope into flat, functional space. We build walls sized and drained for the load they actually carry, so they stay put.

  • Segmental (SRW) block walls
  • Boulder and natural-stone walls
  • Geogrid-reinforced walls for taller heights
  • Wall drainage and proper backfill
  • Terracing and slope stabilization

Walls Fail When the Drainage Does

Most retaining-wall failures come down to two things: no drainage behind the wall and no reinforcement for the height. We build a proper footing, drain the backfill, and add geogrid where the height demands it — so the wall you pay for outlasts the slope it holds.

  • Compacted, level base and footing
  • Drainage stone and pipe behind every wall
  • Geogrid reinforcement on taller walls
  • Engineered design coordination where required

Retaining Wall FAQ

What kind of retaining wall is best for my yard?

It depends on the height, the look you want, and the soil. Segmental block is versatile and clean; boulder walls suit a natural look. We’ll recommend the right system after we see the slope.

Do tall walls need engineering?

Walls above a certain height (often around 4 feet, depending on local code) need an engineered design and reinforcement. We handle that coordination so your wall is both safe and permitted.

Why do retaining walls lean or fail?

Almost always poor drainage and no reinforcement. We drain behind the wall and reinforce for the height, which is what keeps a wall standing straight for decades.
